The overall research direction of the laboratory is artificial intelligence chip architecture design,computer architecture design, GPU, FPGA and ASIC hardware accelerators and software technologies based on artificial intelligence, optimization of neural network algorithm framework, upper application solution design, including digital image recognition, medical image cell detection. The laboratory has cooperation with many companies and enterprises, such as Huawei, ZTE, port groups and biomedical companies.
